Jesus came on his mission to earth as a man so he could relate to people and atone for their sin.
The idea of “God in flesh” was a difficult concept for faithful Jews.
God is faithfully just in his punishment of sin and merciful in that he paid through Jesus.
Man is sinful and sin has to be paid for by someone.
Do no neglect being grateful daily for salvation.
God was merciful to man by being unmerciful towards the punishment of his Son.
Lord Jesus, I trust completely in your perfect love and sacrifice.
